"Privacy from the NSA" is not a worthy goal for American Society... the relationship that you possess with the NSA is the matter of importance to each American. The angle of interaction revolves around whether you are an asset under management... or the NSA is... one-off authority models must account for administrative precedence or they will mis-construe the nature of the relationship. "We the People" are all Individuals... I did not become some weak zero-voiced non actor because of the social implications of "We". I am an Individually driven particle, a self-Sovereign part of the whole of "We".
"Privacy" as the word is generally understood is dead...and also irrelevant. That is not the crime that Society is perpetuating upon itself. Privacy matters as a descriptor of "Leverage"... lives without the ability to control personal leverage lack integrity... a Society made of such people thus lacks integrity. It should be intolerable to Individuals to live in a Society that lacks integrity. Regardless... complexity makes cowardice.
Rescuing leverage is a personal act. You need to be able... hell, you need to be willing... to self-provision personal leverage. Most do not know what that means. Customers do not know what that means. "We" are not presently administering ourselves with this kind of authority.

Part of the challenge of "community sharing" is that knowledge possessed by others can directly affect personal resiliency. Personal resiliency is a primary concern of any #indie movement that lasts. Personal leverage is the first concern of personal resiliency. This is why America exists as it does. This is the "manifest destiny" that commits many wrongs and yet keeps to its objective, undeterred. American Indians can tell their own history about the impact of "Free" and "Open" and "Owned"... contracts that originate with administrative precedence defined by intent... thus leverage... thus resiliency... thus existence.

"We" already have an example of a "Declaration of Indie-pendence" that bares Sovereign integrity under rule of law... the Constitution of such fact already exists. Management philosophies come and go with the generations... start wars... create opportunity... create and fix problems... and the internet is the infrastructure of indie-pendence and data integrity... or it is not... people decide every day in every conceivable way.

Contracts are only as good as the system of law that underwrites them. This should be an impetus for our legal system to fix something that robs validity from contract law generally, such as the "contracts of adhesion" called "Terms of Service" pervading most digital communication presently.
Identity has become a contract of adhesion, used to inaugurate the social contract of citizenship itself. Think about what it means that people are willing to do that to babies without thought... without reading into any Terms and considering their participatory structure as data subjects under management... there is no contract more important....

That every subsequent "registered legal relationship" should emulate this model is a no-brainer... literally. Why care that you sold your data life away when you are 32 and looking for a mortgage?... or 13 and signing up for Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp/OcculusRift/... or 19 and taking a blood test at the local emergency room?... your parents did it to you years ago without a second thought. It was reinforced upon you for 18 years before anyone considered you to have any legal integrity as an Individual Human being.
This aptly describes the "resigned ambivalence" that is our current status quo. "Why care" does not a strong Union make.
The key to changing the model for yourself is 'how do you establish the contracts that bind all other contracts'? This is the method of personal Sovereignty.
It has already been validated that a "Declaration of Indie-pendence" can construe a Sovereign event. The Constitution of such fact already exists. The method is being mis-used and mis-administered. Therefore the solution involves:
1. A Human child's "LEGAL NAME"; administered with Agreed intent.
2. A functional tool/data structure capable of self-provisioning "LEGAL ENTITY NAME"; administered by personal intent.
In this life, Sovereign people do not ask for Rights... they are declared. Engineering change does not require lobbying... it requires an understanding of personal strategic leverage. The objective is not to change the system, the objective is to change your personal interaction with the system by leveraging the systems structure to your personal benefit.
We have methods already available to us today that enable self-provisioning capabilities of "LEGAL ENTITY NAME" in conceivably limitless supply at a cost approaching zero. But I am here to tell you that we can not celebrate the "indie" movement and be concerned with empowering the employee/customer role at the same time. They are not aligned.
"Free" and "Open" have been co-opted as a means of isolating power in hands of few, at the expense of many, but to the improvement of some... which justifies the entire flow.

We do not weaken our tools to make Human life better...we improve their design.
