Generative Networks

The most direct way of experiencing the outcomes derived by generative networks is to visit a local farm with chickens, goats, pigs, horses, cows, or any other sort of livestock. For the ease of understanding by a 3 year old, I describe the concept whereby sometimes 1 + 1 =  3 using the following logic:

1 Happy Chicken + 1 Happy Chicken = 3 Happy Chickens, with predictable regularity.

The Internet is a generative network. It is a method of creating and extracting value by using a simple formula of collaborative exchange. At its best, it demonstrates 'ego-less' collaborative exchange. But even where 'ego' plays an influential role in the nature of exchange between any two entities, the opportunity for 1 + 1 =3 outcomes is pervasive.

Understanding the exploratory nature of economics and the learning model that supports such network growth methodologies is critical for every person, every market and every entity on this planet. It wears different names at different times, directed by the motivations that aspire to engage it. For this reason, it is easy to get confused unless one is primarily aware of this kind of exchange formula and willfully acknowledges it's role in defining life on planet Earth.

All of us are directly affected by this formula, and yet how many of you can say you were introduced to it within your schooling experience? In a socio-economic system that yields You + Me = Opportunity with predictable regularity, one must wonder why this formula is not taught to all Human children starting at age 3+....
