Local ownership is a very personal, meaning very political, process and outcomes. It is the meaning of Human life, expressed every day in every significant and menial way. What we choose to do is our inherent Human Right and responsibility. No matter how you live, or where you live, theoretically... by virtue of the existence of a socio-economic system practicing a 'manifest destiny' expansion method in this closed biome, your presence is part of the flow. Aboriginal peoples? Giraffes? Blue Whales? Trees in the Amazon? That new baby born at Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia?
Yep... local ownership is an attack/defense vector for every single living thing on planet Earth.
Only one (1) problem. The choice to be "Administered" is an Individual Right, an expression of free will, self interest, and contextual integrity in the functioning of Society. To erase the choice, and to instead "compel" the decision outcome, is to deny the choice. No civil Society can call itself civil when the choice of participation has been removed absolutely. To originate Human authority on this planet only after "Administration" is to grant a Monopoly to a "Governing bureaucracy" as the method and means of arbitraging the decision making apparatus of Society. This is by definition a "denial of service attack" on the actual structure and nature of Human authority.
Administration may seem like an absolute requirement for Society. But, we should all take note of the subtle reality we permit to lay subtly dormant while permitting current administration methods in Society. Facebook is an embarrassment. Google has been struggling with evil for years. Microsoft is still lost, but Mojang could steer the ship into the future successfully. Right? :) The NSA speaks for itself. NSTIC... how we doing?
UNSTIC is what the future is waiting for. Self-Sovereignty is a Human destiny, an expression of manifest destiny that can only be corrupted by enemies of progress itself. That is not to say that we blindly blaze a trail towards a future where Individuals all hold nuclear power buttons. No, no no... education earns credentials for a reason. But, if we are going to use meaningless credentials to enforce administrative structures that hold the future hostage, then a coup d' etat may become necessary to free the primary assets and kieys from the custody of the oppressor.
Freedom and justice for all is not optional in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. It is a data structure, and it begins with a self-Sovereign origin. In fact it has a root formula that is legal and practicable today:
IF birth = citizenship, AND parent = citizen THEN parent = legal citizen Administrator
That is the road ahead. I humbly submit that re-constructing the root Identity of our functional model of Society is a requirement henceforth for peace itself. We exist in a distorted state of dis-equilibrium caused by choice structures long past. We are entering an epoch; a time of great generational change driven by technology and the skills to engineer its use.
The beginning of local ownership is the birth event of a new child, a beautiful living asset to any family. When healthy and happy, it feeds many. When difficult and traumatic, it tears at our hearts to give more and embrace our pain. Life presents these root experiences for us all, and when times exist that require more from us, even exceptional times of war and local struggle, we must choose our response. Heroes are everywhere, just not all the time. Individuals must act, that is where our strength comes from in Society. At least it was...
Automated intelligence is growing in capability due to our Human capabilities, and work is increasingly being done by machines. Human value in Society exists among a constantly changing formula. What is it for you? For each of us, the experience can be different. But we need to increase our understanding of Human value, and the means of creating increasing value in Society.
War and civil destruction in any manner it is executed is damaging to each of us. Our whole is capable of having an impact on any of us, once automated by machines acting on their own decision-making structure with redundant energy support, there is no limit to what is possible. The bad and the good. What matters for Society, and its current Administrators, to understand is that chaos is not a good goal... while it serves as a great process. Anarchy is not our destination of choice, and yet it may be required from time to time. Without respect for the integrity of the Individual, Individuals will be forced to act to fix the formula. And even after it is restored, there will continue to be Individuals and groups that choose to attack the choice... unless, something else becomes possible.
Micro-Sovereignty is being sought all around the world. Peoples want affinity with their own, even while living among others that fall outside that definition. People want to belong, they want to be part of something bigger than themselves. But people also want personal value, they want an opportunity to be themselves and to be seen by others as an Individual. Peoples want to express their sense of place via Sovereign authority that they contribute meaning and value to.
This is a critical design consideration in making Society an Administered event... and this is why local ownership matters, because Individuals must own their own participation if the system is going to behave peacefully... with stability and productive chaos in tow.
