I have been communicating the need for self-possessed structural participation in Society since 1992. I have used different names at different times, based on my own evolving understanding of the means by which Human empowerment is processed in structural Terms.
I was a college student in 1992; one of six students enrolled in a newly created Japanese Business Management program, with a personal focus on Entrepreneurship in the US. I was influenced by a family with strong leanings toward social causes and higher education, and raised by a very active Mother who worked and thought as a social worker.
Self-Sovereign authority in Society is a particularly American concept, having demonstrated its effect for the world 240 years ago. Structurally, in management Terms, and of special consequence as a result of digital technologies, self-Sovereign authority is transacted in Society by use of a primary key... an identity. The identity that an Individual uses represents the "legal construct" through which Sovereign participation is transacted in each and every exchange of socio-economic Rights citizens and non-citizens execute. These include birth registration, kindergarten registration, DMV transactions, bank account setup, credit card setup, voting, receiving social security benefits, medicare benefits, serving in the military, serving in Government, getting a job and paying taxes under the law... and much more.
The act of originating an Individual identity sets in motion a process that represents the integrity and meaning of participation within the socio-economic system of Society. Citizenship itself is born in this process. The structure of this process represents the meaning of an Individual administrative life under the law of the land, and the mapping of authority via this process requires Constitutional integrity for the enforcement of the law with integrity. Without an accurate mapping of Sovereign authority, there can be no accuracy of experience, and an Individual's administered relationships fall prey to this misconstrued authority, to the detriment of both Individuals, and Society.
When people misunderstand the nature of Sovereign participation, whether by erroneous interpretation or intentional management practices, every type of relationship between people in legal Terms is affected. This is extremely dangerous to the well-being of Society. Society is a delicate and powerful construct, made by the contributions of willing people in relationship with one another, and the Institutions they place trust within to manage their fidelity with care and accuracy. When this trust breaks, and Institutional outcomes no longer accurately represent Individual people, new choices emerge... all dependent on the source of Sovereign authority in any Society.
You are the source of Sovereign authority in Society. Social leverage in America is representative "of, by, for the people..."... "The People"... not databases, not machines, not artificial intelligence, not corporations, not any other thing than the people. When Sovereign authority is no longer under the direct provisioning of the People, Individually represented in each and every transaction of consequence, then this misconstrued authority becomes toxic, and capable of leverage for purposes not in accord with Constitutional integrity.
When the Constitution allows this outcome, there are methods to fix errors installed within the apparatus of Constitutional law. Such is the case with regard to the primary key used to transact Sovereign authority. Individuals have been engaging in a process of identity registration that does not represent the actual definition of Constitutional integrity. Of, by and for the people, Individually free to pursue happiness as they may Individually define it, in harmony of relationship with other equals... American Sovereignty is defined, supported, protected and derived from Individuals.
John Hancock is evidence of this innate structural truth; no administrative process was required for John Hancock to "Declare Independence" from National Sovereignty, and self-represent the foundation of American Sovereign authority personally. By his signatory, personal affiliation with the cause of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness was conveyed in legal process, and Constitutional integrity was formed from the root stock of Individual lives. This mapping of American Sovereign authority is an accurate representational model for every constructed artifact for the management of its integrity that Society has rendered over time. Except where its structure has been denied, or perverted by administrative process, and no longer conveys this integrity upon Individual lives in relationship to the whole of Society.
I propose this is the case in several forms, and a simple error of omission is its cause.
The act of constructing a Sovereign signatory, applying it to a personal "Declaration of Independence" and enforcing this personal origin of authority upon participation in Society under Constitutional law, is the act which maps the accuracy of American Sovereignty. Without such a mapping that all Individuals freely execute equally, the entire mapping of Constitutional authority is perverted by an administrative process which misconstrues Individual authority as an outcome derived by registration into National Sovereignty.
Of, by and for the people can not be accurately represented by a process that is of, by and for administered National Sovereignty under Government management of Constitutional law. The order of authoritative precedence is not aligned to the process by which American Constitutional authority is derived.
Self-Sovereign authority is not an option in America; it is the foundation of America. Identity formation is the primary key by which the entire socio-economic system derives its management integrity, and mis-conveyed authority within National Sovereign administration systems is an un-Constitutional outcome that can only be remedied by Constitutional amendment.
Proposed: Constituional Amendment to add a self-Sovereign signatory method representing personal Agreement with the "Declaration of Independence", Bill of Rights and Constitutional law as a citizen of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Without a self-Sovereign signatory, and identity construct, useful in all physical and digital representations of Sovereign authority, Constitutional integrity is at risk of absolute failure.
In history, it is important to recognize the difference between a people who self-conceive the Right to form a new Sovereign Society with laws duly represented of, by and for its people... and the people who do not receive equal Rights under the law without asking to be given those equal Rights, such as women or people of color in America. The 14th and 19th Amendments to the Constitution are fundamentally caused by the inaccurate mapping of self-Sovereign authority to every Human life construed as a citizen under Constitutional law.
This inaccurate mapping of Sovereign authority is becoming a Human Rights problem as digital technology fundamentally changes what is possible for Society, and Individuals in the world. Non-Human forms of intelligence will continue to extend this problem within new domains of consideration. Human Rights and Sovereign Rights are closely bound, and Sovereign authority is being challenged logically and structurally to accurately represent the Human beings who are affected by and responsible for the Constitutional integrity of civil Society.
If a human person is required to register within a file system, database, or any other data holding container that technology may enable from time to time in order to receive Sovereign authority and Rights of administration, then this process of Sovereignty can not be construed as having Constitutional integrity under American definition of law. All United Nations activities to protect the Rights of Children and Human beings must find Agreement with the accurate mapping of personal Human freedom and dignity within administrative mechanisms that may cause both to be adversely affected by structure alone.
Self-Sovereign authority is not simply an artifact, but rather represents a process of participation in Society which recognizes the source of Sovereign authority accurately, and maps this integrity to the primary key used by Individuals in all data-based transactions. The entire marketplace is formed from the root stock of this primary key relationship between Individuals and Society, and is the foundation of market-based relationships expressed by any and every business model or technical innovation possible. Human authority is guaranteed of, by and for the people in civil Society, and no invention of mankind may ever threaten this reality without the structure of participation being capable of rebuke by the self-Sovereign Individuals whom give Constitutional law force when required, in all cases.
A lack of understanding of self-Sovereign authority which dismisses the inherent requirement for relationships among other equal self-Sovereign authorities does nothing to omit the necessity of this structural requirement under Constitutional law. It is the job of public education to empower the populace it serves with knowledge of the inborn leverage people possess in Sovereign Society to contribute to the values that are derived of, by and for the lawful participants in civil Society.
