Fear of Apple:
It is a sad commentary on what is being built via the tools we want to look on with kindness and favor, and to use in the empowerment of our lives, our communities, and our positions in this world as people... real Human beings.
Unfortunately, managing relationships with vendors as people comes laden with false ideas about what it means to be classified as "people" once an administrative context has wrapped itself around your expression of participation.
Very few independent people walk this planet. Bureaucracy has made sure of this.
Once administered, independence within a socio-economic context is largely an impotent idea. It is not taught, it is not supported, and it does not know how to collaborate with itself and versions of itself to any meaningful degree.
Automated bureaucracy has won a war that very few understand they were part of. What comes next is largely inevitable. The warnings of domination at the "hands" of artificial intelligence may be a required experience of supplication in a world that makes enemies of false enemies in a concerted effort to take power from the actual sources of power.
You. Each of us. Networked Individuals do not exist because no one knows how to stay true to the root power of the Individual Human experience... at once powerful and in need of voracious support by the whole of an organism that is easily convinced of the superiority of its masses over its constituents participants, who grant, harvest and create the very possibility for Human progress... and always have.
No matter. Bureaucracy has won our epic... and the opportunity to earn value, to be counted as liabilities enhancing the asset value of the machinery of our administration is robust... all-encompassing... omni-present... and managed with great loyalty by practitioners of wage-servitude in such a manner as to make data-capture under similar designs inevitable. We do that which is understood to be required.
Independent people, there is no honor in fighting.
This war is not for you to wage. Your counter-force is not found in equal and opposite action.
Compliance and silence are your friends... the bureaucracy is looking for you...for signals of your presence in activities that run counter to its best interest, managed by "people" administering life in ways they understand because of the experience of being administered in ways they have come to understand. When a force this perverse and pervasive comes for you, let its own force be its only experience... yield like water to the rocks in a stream and flow....
This bureaucratic machine has other enemies... equally crazy and deranged and driven by deeply flawed imaginations of war fought with over-zealous ambitions for new administrative outcomes reading from books and scrolls with counter-intelligence to those ruling our present day designs. Do not get caught in the middle.
Seek a quiet place to hide.
Stand guard against traitors.
Do not waste your time.
See through the illusions that fears produce to win your bureaucratic compliance.
Be happy, stay local.
Own yourself.
Make the world...
