Self-Sovereignty is the foundation of the United States of America; a light on a hill that can not be hid. It is a demonstration of the source of authority that builds human civilization, applied in a manner that made overtly known the intention to provide all mankind the opportunity to live as a King of their own lives.
Many falsely believe that America was to be a place without Kings... and yet it is quite the opposite. America was designed to be a Nation where all people could be Kings of their own lives, and our Society was a great collaborative experiment between people with the ability and liberty to demonstrate their own personal relationship to Sovereignty. Self-Sovereignty, as demonstrated by John Hancock and the Founders of this new Nation, was never about taking one's wealth and authority and hiding in a hole or retreating into one's own life never to be active within community again. It was exactly the opposite, forcing Individuals to self-represent, self-administer and drive their own authority within the actions they contributed to their Society.
We have come a long way since our founding. People have had to stand up and represent their own Sovereign integrity in myriad ways over the past 240 years to right false assumptions, fix broken practices, and to make sure that all people have the opportunity to freely represent their own Sovereign integrity within the workings of Society. The misappropriation of power and authority in human civilizations is the norm, and people that understand the need to self-represent Sovereign authority have been placed on pedestals as heroes and exceptional people that history fails to document accurately how they came to represent themselves in such ways.
As a result of the process of passing this torch of structural liberty down from one generation to the next poorly, and as a result of the abdication of structural and procedural Rights within the workings of administered Society, a crisis of Sovereign integrity is growing in our modern Society, and relatively few understand the nature of the problem sufficiently to do anything personal about it. Our schools have been configured in such a way as to omit any semblance of learning about the opportunity to demonstrate personal Sovereignty in the lives of our citizenry. If an Individual is going to learn how to apply personal Sovereign authority within their own life and Society, it is going to be a self-led outcome.
Welcome to 2017... within the identity marketplace globally, the concept of self-Sovereignty has become a functional goal. After 20+ years of verbal pitching by yours truly to early web engineers, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and citizen peers all choosing to support functional data models that eradicated the concept of self-Sovereign authority, often by supporting social-custodianship models of participation built upon Terms of service that had not been read, were not equitable, and had zero personal sustainability for the value of the objects being represented as data relations... another path has come into light.
People interested in Human Rights, recognizing that National Sovereignty and identity are core assets that all people need to have access to, have begun interrogating the structure of these Rights to determine whether our methods enforce or abdicate the Human Rights seeking empowerment. National Sovereignty is built upon the foundation of self-Sovereign authority, and yet this very structural reality is not actively present within the administration of basic citizen Rights anywhere, including America. Identity that requires origination of authority within a Nationally Sovereign database can not be called Human Rights, and instead represent system rights with contextual integrity that precludes any notion of default Human Rights structurally. As a result, issues like the needs of refugees displaced by tragic happenings and in need of security while traversing the relationships of systemic support, have highlighted the inherent risk of participation in the process of demonstrating a relationship with National Sovereign administration systems. Registration into a National Sovereign database in order to secure a functional identity can lead to the death of self and affiliated loved ones as a result of the lack of the very security the system is espousing it can fulfill and represents inherently.
People interested in basic web freedoms, like the freedom from being tracked at all times by Government agencies, marketers, neighborly stalkers, and corporate intent are starting to question the logic of correlating all of their data interactions to their legal identity. Self-Sovereign identity as a method of self-empowerment and security from the mis-represented intent of such groups is of growing interest to developers and customers equally. Identity is the foundation of Freedom within a Society that uses the primary key of identity to associate Rights with personal participation in every Sovereign exchange. Child birth and citizen registration, education and kindergarten registration, driving license registration, banking administration, marriage registration, and yes, Facebook registration have all been built upon a foundation of Sovereign structure that eliminates self-Sovereign integrity structurally leaving something entirely different in its place.
The internet was born with a relatively small imagination; IPv4 and IPv6 stand as testament of how quickly the imagination of initial engineering was overcome by this innovative tool delivered to Society. In fact, it was built for an entirely different set of assumptions than will play out as the most important functional role it serves for humankind. The internet is the most important resource ever created for the advancement of Humanity, and while we are at its most early stages of development still, it is already changing so many of the root structures in Society. Every Society, regardless of socio-economic structure, is being affected, and the path ahead will remain active for the disruption of past practices at the hands of people with skills, imagination and the ability to help other people find what they are in search of.
Self-Sovereign authority is a requirement for systemic integrity. While many people will begin pointing at effects like "fake news", or "voter fraud", or systemic data surveillance by employees of Sovereign Governments acting in overtly Orwellian manners, most will miss the structural flaw that leads to all of these. It is the absence of self-Sovereign authority and integrity within Society that leads to the spoofing of administered systems of participation.
Strengthening Society starts by strengthening Individuals, and providing the opportunity for Individuals to build strong lives means Institutionally defending the Sovereign structure of self-Sovereign authority. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness point to a source of Rights that emanates from within an Individual. Systemic enslavement via data capture methods using a Nationally Sovereign model of administration and free market exploitation at the expense of Individuals is hardly a model for long-term viability. Citizens will endure wrongs, as history has documented, but eventually crumbling foundations bring structures to the dirt they are built from.
America can not persist, nor compete, without the active demonstration of the core value that has brought immigrants from all over the world to its shores in search of something that historically was unique to this young Nations founding. The American Dream is a self-Sovereign dream, and repeatedly this structural force of personal will has out-competed the entire civilized world. In its short life span, the United States of America has become the most powerful Nation on Earth because here, self-Sovereign Individuals express the power of Kings within their own lives and within Society, for the benefit of all.
Self-Sovereign administration of National Sovereign authority is the next evolution of the American Dream. You can evaluate the nature of Individual thought in regards to the power embedded within this idea based on how people push for or against this notion of personal authority and integrity. People all too often sell themselves into enslavement and then blame others for the actions they take upon themselves, their peers and their progeny. Self-Sovereignty puts responsibility and opportunity into the hands of Individual people, where it belongs, and expresses the only kind of equality that will ever actually exist in the Universe... equal Rights to self-administer the Freedom and pursuit of happiness that any Individual life defines on their own behalf, for the benefit of self among others that may be strengthened and never harmed by the manner in which Individuals find this authority in their own lives.
Self-Sovereignty is not a concept that needs a sales team. In fact, leading its charge does not require that any personality be espoused as its Founder or leader... for it is discovered and resolves personally within every Individual. It is not given to you as a service, it is enforced by you and every other Individual that chooses to self-administer the authority of personal Freedom.
In 2017, America is practicing an un-American model of Rights administration structurally, and the data model of participation in American Society is going to be challenged by self-Sovereign Individuals expressing the greatest competitive advantage the world has ever known to change in the direction of our Founding Fathers structural intent. If you are not American, you will be forced to turn within yourself and your own Society to resolve your personal relationship with Sovereign notions of authority. America has a responsibility to Americans, and Americans have a responsibility to America to self-represent, to partner in the expression of self-Sovereign authority and work to bring the primary power of America to the rest of the world as a competitive market structure affecting every notion of Human Rights alive on planet Earth.
The power and authority is within you... give it structure with self-Sovereign integrity.
