Some people do.
America was considered at great length, and fought for in many ways. It is an idea, and its elegance and power comes from the origin of its social will. Each of us hold certain "truths" to be self-evident, and our Agreement binds us together in social contract. Did you sign the contract? Did you give your "John Hancock" form and bind the meaning of legal words backed by socio-economic intent to your personal life? Did you choose to participate?
Do people in America own Freedom?
Some people do.
America is a complicated story to tell. Winners tend to write its tales and exploits, losers get to edit the meaning socially over time... but in the end, the real meaning of America is in the hands of those people now living called citizens. Current American citizens, does your life feel "American" to you? Does it feel like you own Freedom? Do you feel like your Society is empowered by your force to secure it from within, as an American citizen? Do you feel like you know who your fellow American citizens are... in the sense that, you have neighbors, and your kids have friends, and you go to church on Sunday, or not... do you know who the Americans are, sitting, living, working around you every day?
Can you identify the Americans around you? Are you an American?
It is often said that "with great power comes great responsibility"... and I have always enjoyed that sentiment, and appreciated what would be possible if people lived up to its meaning. But as a functioning American citizen, I have not been overly impressed during my lifetime with the experience of this sentiment in my own country. I say this knowing that there are in fact many good people in my country, mostly good people in my country, and the amazing results of my country are a projection of what is possible when people own Freedom.
But, only some people do.
"The System" is flawed; everyone of us knows this is true. Whether you are winning or losing, you know it is true. History has its tales, and some do not paint such pretty pictures. Others are enthralling however, and paint with colors that spark the imagination and fire the hearts of most of us.
Identifying as an American in the year 2018 is problematic, given the nature of digital participation growing exponentially it seems, amidst an archaic interaction scheme placing data in centralized databases in order to provision System Rights. In other words, our Government management system has us still organized as legal names in a file cabinet, and the whole world has stolen the contents of our files, and each of us DO NOT own the file, let alone the data inside of it, as Individual Americans.
In order to structure one's own life as an "American" one must own Freedom. You must put Freedom into a new context, a new data structure backed by legal Rights that are owned by You as root administrator. This untold fact, omitted from every public school system in our country due to a philosophical bent, leads us to a very binary split between the people of America.
You see, ownership contracts rule the world. Quite literally, wars are fought for property Rights. Owners own the world, and everyone else is mis-structured for the world they are living in. Think about it. The tax code is written for owners; if you are an owner, you pay taxes last, after you pay yourself. Conversely, work renters (employees) pay taxes first, and keep what is left over. Taxation is how Government systems breathe and express the Governing authority they possess.
In America, Governing authority is supposed to be "of, by, and for the people" of America, its citizens. But American citizens do not "Own America" Individually. The collective force of our people sustains us in every way, but as Individuals, we do not own Freedom by default. Our Government has to provision it to us... why?
American Rights do not come from our Government... they exist rooted in our people. Our Government is Instituted to "guarantee" that the Rights of American citizens shall never perish from this Earth. But, where are those Rights in expressing our own participatory data structure? Why is the American Government provisioning Freedom to registered data objects, citizens all?
History... welcome to our moment.
Technology produces human leverage, and that is why we create it.
ID + technology has the supremely important task of securing human Rights and building American civil Society with the integrity of direct authority, expressed by owners of Freedom and self-Sovereign participants in the Governing of our Constitutional Rights, Authority, and Security.
American Society does not own any Human beings.
The people of America own the Government of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and with the inclusion of a self-Sovereign signatory added recursively to the Declaration of Independence, every Individual will have the opportunity to declare their integrity of participation in the Constitutional affairs of American citizens. Yes?
Identity has been abused, and the American data structure is laid bare. American babies are the #1 risk vector for identity theft, and the Governing data structure of citizenship itself is the cause. Security methods of every type have failed to overcome the root cause of the failure, for the American Government has built and is reliant upon an un-American data structure. The current un-American data structure has contrived each American citizen as a liability under management, and its inability to secure, and instead grossly leveraging this data as the baseline of free market opportunity, has squandered the main asset of our people.
American citizens have a Constitutional Right to own Freedom. Our identity is the primary key to our civil Society. It must be protected within an American data structure that allows American citizens to properly guarantee the integrity of the relationship they have with their Government.
Any entity, any employee, any agent of any regime that stands to oppose this work should be identified using current methods available, and held accountable as an enemy of American Freedom. Life, liberty and the pursuit of human happiness is not possible in a world where perfect surveillance of people as ADMIN_ID_SLAVE under management is allowed. This is not American, and that is not an American America.
Individual American citizens, if you do not own Freedom and participate with a self-Sovereign data structure and ID, you are not participating in the administration of America as an American. That is a problem, for you, for us, and ultimately for the entire world.
America acting American and structuring its affairs in an American way is good for human progress. That starts by owning and self-administering your own data structure.
